Netizens were immediately attracted to the bizarre creature. Many people speculate as to what this is.

One person commented: “What the hell is that?” After some debate, it was agreed that this creature was actually an anemone that was upside down because it ran aground.

Sea anemones are commonly found in the tropics, off the coast of Western Australia. They can be up to 50cm long and come in more colors.

But the color of this creature may have been altered by sun exposure in the sand for too long, some commented.
