In an interview with CNN, Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) announced that he would never return to the Fast & Furious film crew because of a disagreement with his former colleague Vin Diesel.
The actor explained: “Vin Diesel’s recent social media posts are an example of his psychological manipulation. I don’t like Vin mentioning his son in articles, or Paul Walker’s death.”

The Rock joined the film franchise from Season 5 Fast Five (2011). He plays Agent Hobbs, who is opposite Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toretto. The two characters then become teammates. At the end of The Fate of the Furious (2017), The Rock suddenly announced that it was leaving the franchise.
On his personal page, he wrote a status line referring to Diesel’s lack of professionalism and star disease. In 2019, The Rock produced its own film Hobbs & Shaw about its character, earning $ 760 million.
