A YouTuber exploring an abandoned aquarium has filmed the moment she made an eerie discovery inside a broken tank.

French woman Juliette, who goes by Juj’ Urbex on YouTube and TikTok, was with friends inside the aquarium in Spain when they found the mummified remains of a shark.

Urbex is a shortened term for ‘urban exploration’.

“Oh my god!” Juliette says after her friends show her the zombie state.

Martinez explores the state in sharks called “tonic immobility”, used by researchers and aquarium veterinarians to safely study sharks, and sets out to solve a mystery of predators using it on massive great whites.

It’s official, Zombie Sharks are a thing and the video above proves it.

The shark expert shows how to turn any shark into a zombie through “tonic immobility”. Later in the documentary it’s larger tiger sharks and eventually great white sharks that get the same incredible treatment.

As soon as the divers enter the water during a ‘feeding frenzy’ full of Tiger sharks, things get serious pretty fast.

“This is crazy right now, there are too many sharks,” says Eli.

Colleague Mike, who is comfortably on the boat, says “I’m not feeling this,” before warning them to get back onboard.

“Let’s back off for a little bit,” says Eli, as they try again to put another shark into the state.

It’s said that the tiger shark is just as dangerous as a great white.

But Eli and the team don’t stop there. With recent attacks by orca whales on great white sharks indicate the whales may be exploiting an ability to put sharks into this zombie state to attack them.
