“There is chemistry,” a source reported to Page Six after Cruise, 60, and Shakira, 46, were spotted together at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami during the weekend. “He is extremely interested in pursuing her,” the insider claimed, remarking how the Oscar-winning actor could be the “soft pillow” that Shakira needs to fall on at the moment.

While neither of the two has commented on any of these rumors, the Hips Don’t Lie singer’s fans are not thrilled in the least about the idea of any amorous developments between her and Cruise. In fact, they seem to be positively horrified by the mere idea of it.

Both his divorces with Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes were said to have a rather dark undercurrent that went beyond just the “irreconcilable differences” that famous couples usually cite upon splitting up.
