The star offloaded his seven-bedroom, 10,000 square foot mansion in Beverly Hills for $40 million,TMZ reports. The buyer was billionaire Leon Black, the founder of private equity group Apollo Global Management, the gossip site reports.”

Katie Holmes hasn’t said much when it comes to her relationship with Tom Cruise, likely because she signed an NDA. However, she did open up about how the story impacted her life, and how she finally was able to find peace.
“Obviously, as a public person, I’ve gotten a lot of attention at different periods in my life. And when you have a lot of attention, sometimes you don’t want to leave the house because it’s just too much.”
She continued, “You can get consumed by what people think, but suddenly you just decide to do things on your own terms. I feel like I’m finally figuring that out. I’m getting the projects I want made and just relaxing a little. I’ve been around for a long time, and I’m still here! I can’t believe it.”
Holmes would also discuss how different the experience was living in New York, but how those around her made the transition an easy, and positive one.
“Yes, it’s a little too exposed at times,” she admitted to InStyle. “We work hard to maneuver and navigate. But what I love about New York is that for me and my child, this is our vibe.”
“New York has been very good to both of us. I love the theater, the galleries in my neighborhood. Stuff [like] that is so much of what makes me love this city. I love the Knicks. I love talking to my neighbors in the elevator. I like feeling a part of something big.”
Holmes would go on to compliment all the things she has to her disposal. “When there are 25 things to do every night, it takes you out of your own thing… I’ll take a class at Broadway Dance Center. I’ll go to the Joyce Theater. I do hot yoga and boxing classes. I have a book club. The city has a lot to offer, and I use it.”
A major lifestyle change and according to tabloids, she was desperate for it.

According to RadarOnline, one of them consisted of Katie Holmes not being allowed to publicly date for five years.
The publication writes, “Katie signed a clause in her quickie divorce settlement that prevents her from embarrassing Tom in various ways, like talking about him or Scientology, or publicly dating another man for five years after the divorce. She’s allowed to date, but she cannot do so in a public fashion, and she’s not supposed to let any boyfriend near their daughter, Suri.”
